Description

Featuring a 7” woofer that provides bass extension down to 39 Hz, the T7V's U-ART tweeterdiaphragm provides pristine and extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz, which isvirtually unheard of in studio monitors at this price-point. This is why Spinorama was apparently groundbreaking news for audio industry. Hence in the mid-late 2010's, most brands and magazines began publishing Spinorama measurements, despite the challenges of making such measurements. Frequency response 14.1Hz @-6dB. 14.1Hz is chosen so the theoretical max score is 10 although nothing prevent a system from achieving better performances and therefore the score could exceed 10; this is the first issue.

The U-ART tweeter is fitted to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series studio monitors. The waveguide’s highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working. The EQ I provide are targeted at maximizing the *speaker* performance to give the user a decent starting point for the final in-room integration that will undoubtably require additional EQing to deal with the room/speaker location LF contribution.

What Makes Our Sales Engineers Great?

The smaller T5Vs offer more seamless integration between the two drivers; however they make up for it with a more usefully extended bass response. Maybe it’s the lower crossover frequency of 2.6kHz that makes the treble a tad more obvious and exposed. Both of ADAM’s T range nearfields offer great value for money, punching well above their weight. Audition both if you can to hear which presentation better suits your monitoring requirements. ADAM's U-ART is a 19-inch pleated polyamide film. Accelerated Ribbon Tweeters can move air 4x faster than most tweeters, making it a super-efficient machine that results in detailed audio delivery.

Even for more modern EDM, Hip-Hop, or classical music with deeper bass, it delivers all you need without needing a subwoofer for near-field monitoring. I have spliced the LF of the ON to the other curves and simulated the directivity, so it's probably not perfect but, I hope, a reasonable approximation. TBC You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. The PIR (Predicted In-room Response) is supposed to be a reasonable estimator of the actual in-room response, at least in the frequency range where the speaker is dominating. As for cons, is that they have the power button on the rear. But i have plugged them both on a power tile with power button so i can power them on and off easily. So not that much of a problem. I'd rather start with as clean a (speaker + anechoic EQ) system as possible before dealing with the room, but that's me.

Fortunately, now we have the Spinorama data for a bunch of quite popular speakers. Pierre Aubert put all this untidy data together and put it into https://www.spinorama.org/. This is a stunning source. Pretty valuable stuff from him right there. The Adam Audio T7V is a mid-range studio monitor designed to meet the demands of producers and engineers withsmall-to-mid room spaces, kitted out with some of Adam's most forward-thinking technology and features. Award-Winning Nearfield Monitor with state-of-the-art technology The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect match to complement the T7V, to extend the capabilities of monitoring in the bottom end. Specifications ADAM’s new T Series makes the company’s signature technology and sound available at a much lower price than ever before. In a typical small studio environment, the T7Vs manage a well‑balanced overall sound with detailed but non‑aggressive highs and confident lows that — while exhibiting a little overhang — don’t sound excessively ‘plummy’. Their stereo imaging is also well defined with a stable centre image. In many respects the sound follows the general character of the popular ADAM A7Xs, but with perhaps a little less overall brightness and tightness when the EQ is set flat. There may also be a hint less finesse in the mid‑range, but really there’s surprisingly little in it given the price difference. I found the T7Vs very comfortable to work with and I’d be happy to use them on serious projects. They remain clean‑sounding up to comfortable mixing levels, and while 110dB should be considered a peak rather than a target level, there’s plenty of clean power in hand when you consider that you’ll probably be sitting only a couple of feet from these speakers. The U-ART tweeter is fitted to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series studio monitors.
