I have skin that tends to bring out masculine notes, so the sweet spun sugar note is completely overpowered by the scent of licorice. Indulge yourself with Pink Sugar EDT and let this enchanting fragrance transform your everyday life. This is much more sickly sweet in the dry down compared to the original Pink Sugar, which I don't find to be as cloying. It's one of the rare cases when a company goes all in on the sweetness and delivers, and even licorice doesn't diminish it. Final verdict: I LOVE this, definitely will be great to wear anytime I want to smell like sweet cotton candy tropical flowers.

The notes listed are exactly how this fragrance smells and its very sweet but dries down to a caramelized powdery vanilla scent. It invokes feelings of warmth and comfort in me, kinda making me remember fair days at my primary school. The scent opens with a seductive blend of fresh notes like bergamot and Sicilian orange, giving a fresh and lively sensation. the first few times i wore this the greener notes really threw me off, but since it dries down to a nice vanilla prominent scent i kept wearing it and i am so glad i did! I'm kind of tired of it, plus the different renditions have altered the original scent in my own mind. And as that lemon fades you're left with creamy and slightly tart vanilla with some Citrus underneath. It's girly- and if you spritz lightly, it works very well spritzed lightly on a cool day- feminine and sweet. It makes me feel so peaceful when I'm wearing this and my favourite fuzzy robe and I feel squeaky clean. I did get a little bit of that *ping* of a headache when I first smelt it, that usually happens when yellow floral notes hit my skin, I did expect more coconut, and possibly more of the caramel to stand out, but it didn't have that element which I have to admit I was actually glad, but once the sugary/yellow floral notes die down a bit, it is nice, it smells exotic and feminine, and also a bit more of higher end perfume, the monoi starts to come out to play as well as the tiare.

While it’s very similar to the original pink sugar it’s a little bit softer and instead of cotton candy, I smell fruity pebbles cereal on the opening and thI'd never smelled anything similar, save for Juice Bar Cotton Candy (I turned all the waitresses onto it in 2001 at the restaurant I worked at. I can pick out the caramel, sugar, ylang ylang and weirdly enough, the monoi oil note which leans slightly pungent and masculine on me.

This is soooo long lasting (will surpass the whole day) and has good sillage, and gets me compliments. It's VERY gourmand which is what people will point out when noticing this perfume on me (usually it's a comment about smelling like some candy or dessert). Edit: a few days later the top I had on when spraying Pink Sugar on my chest started smelling like the most delicious sweet cookies, not artificially sugary ones but baked with love at home. Perhaps, I've become accustomed to overly sweet and somewhat juvenile fragrances to the point that Pink Sugar is now child's play. Upon initial spray, definitely "creamy" but was expecting a more coconut, tropical sweet scent - was greeted by an array of florals that my nose isn't skilled enough to distinguish, and little to no citrus. This deliciously sweet and unique scent has become really popular since its debut and the distinguishing pink and white striped packaging with a swirl at the top will instantly take you into a lively world of refreshing ice cream, sweet fruit cream and mouthwatering candy floss. Needless to say, pink sugar smells amazing especially on others walking past me or in the air, but it's way too cloying on me. Think instead of burnt sugar, you get caramelized sugar with warm coconut milk with a very light backing of white floral for that true summer scent.

The licorice is strong in the beginning (and I don't get why so many hate it smh), but it's not anis-like, instead it's a very sugary licorice.

to me this is the perfect perfume for two distinct characters: the flashiest, pinkest, juicy couturiest, dog in bag-iest, charmiest mean girl of them all, and the other is dahlia hawthorne from ace attorney.
